Senator Hatch, I was appalled when I heard about the 9,000 earmarks in this plan. I thought WOW! this is perfect to show just how self-centered, power-hungry and spend-crazy the Democrats are. Then I heard on the news yesterday that 4,000 of those are from the Republicans!! How can this be? How can we ever make the points about what is best for U.S. at this tenious time when the Republicans are doing the same thing. I thought they had learned a lesson, but I guess not.
